Peter Girtler
Peter Girtler (born June 22, 1972 in Sterzing , South Tyrol ) is an Italian chef .
Career
After completing his culinary apprenticeship, Peter Girtler went through several positions in various renowned establishments in Germany and abroad, including the Heinz Winkler residence in Aschau im Chiemgau , the Hotel Castel in Dorf Tirol , the Parkhotel Laurin in Bozen and the Sporthotel Obereggen in Obereggen where he accepted his first job as head chef. In 2001 he moved to the Romantik Hotel Stafler in Mauls in South Tyrol as head chef , whose gourmet restaurant Einhorn was then awarded a Michelin star and 17 points in Gault Millau . The Gasthofstube - the second restaurant - was also rated 15 points by Gault Millau.
