Peter Hartwig
Peter Hartwig (born March 27, 1964 in Potsdam - Babelsberg ) is a German film producer and film production manager .
Life
Peter Hartwig initially completed an apprenticeship as an offset printer . At the Academy of Film and Television Academy Babelsberg he studied film and television industry and worked as a manager at the DEFA busy -Studio for movies. Since the beginning of the 1990s he has been the production manager and producer of German film and television productions. He often works for the directors Andreas Dresen and Tim Trageser .
Since 2010 he has also been active as a still photographer .
For the film Systemsprenger he was awarded the Bavarian Film Prize in 2019 and the German Film Prize in 2020 .
