Peter Kitzmann (born December 16, 1956 in Osnabrück ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

The midfielder Peter Kitzmann comes from the youth of VfL Osnabrück and moved up in 1974 to the squad of the professional team that had qualified for the 2nd Bundesliga introduced in the same year . On March 23, 1975 he made his professional debut in the 2-2 VfL at Alemannia Aachen . Another second division game followed before Kitzmann moved to the upper division SpVgg Bad Pyrmont . In the following years, Kitzmann was active in the amateur field for Bünder SV , SV Meppen , VfL Herzlake and VfB Rheine . After he was relegated from the Oberliga Westfalen with VfB Rheine in 1983 , he returned to his hometown and played for Eintracht Osnabrück . Between 1985 and 1992 he let his career end with the amateurs of VfL Osnabrück.
