Peter Kohde (born June 9, 1954 ) was a football player in the GDR Oberliga , the top division of the GDR football association. There he played for 1. FC Magdeburg , with whom he became soccer champion in 1974 and 1975. He is a nine-time junior international.

At the age of 14, Kohde signed up for 1. FC Magdeburg from BSG Lok Salzwedel. In the junior team he drew attention to himself, so that in 1970 he was appointed to the squad of the junior national team. With this team he played nine international matches. Despite these references, Kohde initially only played in the second team of the FCM after his junior years. It was not until January 26, 1974 that he was used for the first time in a league point game. In the encounter between Wismut Aue and 1. FCM, he was used in the 58th minute for left winger Wolfgang Steinbach . There were no more league appearances in the 1973/74 season, but with his minimum bet of 32 minutes he had a share in winning the GDR championship. The same was repeated in 1974/75 when Kohde was again GDR champion with two league appearances. Before he left the Magdeburg club in 1979, the 1.78 m tall midfielder made a total of 19 top division games. He has a better record in the cup games between 1973 and 1979. Of the 34 games in the GDR Cup , he played five games, in the 35 Magdeburg European Cup games during this time he was used six times. In the victorious cup finals in 1974 ( European Cup Winners' Cup ) and 1978 and 1979 (GDR Cup), however, he was not used. Most of the games for FCM played Kohde with the 2nd team in the second-rate GDR league , from 1976 in the junior league .

In view of this balance, Kohde left 1. FC Magdeburg at the end of the 1978/79 season and signed up with the GDR league club Stahl Blankenburg . Apart from his military service from 1980 to 1981, during which he played in the third-class army sports community Vorwärts Havelberg , Kohde remained until the end of his active career in Blankenburg, where he played in the GDR league until 1983, then in the third-class district league Magdeburg .
