Peter Košinár (born September 10, 1984 ) is a Slovak summer biathlete in the cross-country style .

Peter Košinár first took part in an international championship at the 2005 Summer Biathlon World Championships in Muonio . First he entered the competitions of the juniors and was 13th in the sprint, eleventh in the pursuit and ninth in the mass start. For the relay race he was appointed to the side of Radovan Cienik , Slavomír Imrich and Davorín Škvaridlo in the men's team, with whom he was sixth. Three years later Košinár came again at the Summer Biathlon World Championships 2008 in Haute-Maurienne and now only for men. The Slovak came in 18th in the sprint and 19th in the pursuit.
