Peter Mandel (* 1941 ) is a German alternative practitioner .

life and work

Mandel has developed his own alternative medical diagnosis and therapy methods, which he summarizes under the term esogetic medicine . He founded Esogetics GmbH to market them . The Esogetik to form a synthesis of esoteric and Biophysics . Mandel sees himself as a scientist and claims that his theories can be empirically verified. An empirical review has not yet taken place, but empirical studies of the individual methods combined here have not been able to prove their effectiveness.

Mandel initially trained as a masseur and worked in the spa department of a clinic in Heidelberg . In 1970 he began training as a naturopath. He is the author of several books and works with the biophoton researcher Fritz-Albert Popp , among others . He is President of the German Kirlian Society, honorary doctor of the Medicina Alternativa in Alma-Ata , honorary member of the Academy for Holistic Medicine of the Grieshaber Foundation and founding member of the Academy for Medicine and Reformed Healing Practices in Worms .

Theories

In 1973, Mandel developed a procedure that he calls "Energetic Terminal Point Diagnosis" (ETD). The basis is the Kirlian photography he modified . This should make it possible to perceive and represent illnesses in the form of “energetic disturbances”. The most important aspect is the relationship between assumed reflex fields of the skin and internal body organs, analogous to the basic assumptions of traditional Chinese medicine in connection with acupuncture .

In esogetics he wants to create a complex synthesis of over 200 traditional and new western and eastern healing techniques. In the 1970s he developed his method of color therapy , color puncture , in which acupuncture points are irradiated with colored light, and invented an infrared pen for the treatment of pain patients . He started working with Popp in the 1980s.

Almond assumes that vibrational energy is absorbed through the skin and directed into the body. The oscillations of the colored light supposedly influence the natural oscillation of the body's cells, recognizable as bio-photon energy. According to this theory, disease is the loss of cells to regulate their own vibration. The color puncture should give appropriate healing impulses.
