Peter Pagel (born February 24, 1956 - December 12, 2010 ) was a German football player .
Career
In 1975 Peter Pagel switched to Tennis Borussia Berlin . With TeBe Pagel was able to celebrate the championship of the 2nd Bundesliga North and thereby move up to the Bundesliga . However, coach Helmuth Johannsen only used him in the game against Westfalia Herne , so that Peter Pagel moved to Spandauer BC after the season , where he immediately became a regular.
For the second division season 1980/81 Pagel went to Hertha BSC . There, under Uwe Klimaschefski, he did not get past top strikers Werner Killmaier (36 goals this season) and Thomas Remark (22 goals). Although Hertha scored the most goals with 123 goals, the club missed promotion behind Werder Bremen and Eintracht Braunschweig .
After joining Hertha, Peter Pagel moved to FC Homburg . In the Oberliga Südwest Pagel was used 21 times and helped his club to the championship. However, he then returned to Berlin , where he played again at Spandauer BC. For the SBC he scored a total of 290 competitive goals in 356 appearances, making him the most accurate player in the club's history.
He then played for SC Gatow , Spandauer SV and SC Charlottenburg , with whom he failed in the promotion round to the 2nd Bundesliga. Following his playing career, Pagel became a coach at Alemannia 90 / Wacker, among others .
Private
In addition to his coaching career, he earned his living as a bus driver for BVG .
On 12. December 2010 Peter Pagel died at the age of 54 years.
