Peter Säckl

Peter Säckl (born October 8, 1939 in Kassel-Harleshausen ; † September 19, 2017 ) was a German architect and politician ( SPD ).

Life and work

After graduating from high school, Säckl completed a university course, which he completed with an examination as a qualified engineer. He then worked as a freelance architect. 2016 Presentation and honoring at the Venice Architecture Biennale in the UAE pavilion (United Arab Emirates):

Political party

Säckl had been a member of the SPD since 1963.

MP

Säckl was elected to the Obervellmar community council in 1964 and was a member of the Kassel-Land district council from 1968 to 1993 . He was a member of the German Bundestag from November 10, 1969, when he replaced the retired MP Kurt Gscheidle , until 1972. He entered parliament through the state list of Hesse .

  • In 1990 he was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon.
  • In 2006 he was President of the Organizing Committee of the Junior Football Cup in Vellmar.
