Peter Sarris
Peter Sarris (born September 15, 1971 in St Albans ) is a British Byzantinist .
Peter Sarris attended St Albans School and studied modern history at Balliol College , Oxford (1990-1993), after which he was elected (by examination) to a Prize Fellowship at All Souls College , Oxford (where he was a Fellow from 1993 to 2006) . He came to Cambridge in 2000 as a University Lecturer and Fellow at Trinity College and has been a visiting fellow at Rice University and the Dumbarton Oaks Research Library.
He researches the social, economic and legal history of late antiquity , the early Middle Ages and Byzantium .
