Peter Torebko (born February 10, 1988 in Bytom , Poland ) is a German tennis player .

Career

Peter Torebko is mainly active on the ITF Future Tour and the ATP Challenger Tour . On the Future Tour he won ten singles titles and two more doubles.

He celebrated his greatest success on the tennis tour in June 2012 at the Grand Slam tournament at Wimbledon . In the third and final qualifying round he failed against Ryan Sweeting in five sets with 6: 3, 6: 1, 6: 7, 5: 7 and 4: 6. In March 2012 he won two futures tournaments in England within two weeks.

His only appearance so far on the ATP World Tour had Torebko 2011 at the BRD Năstase Țiriac Trophy in Bucharest . After qualifying, he was defeated in the first round of the main draw against Igor Andrejew in just three sets. After that, he often lost in the last round of qualification, as in Wimbledon 2012.

From 2012 to 2014 he played for Bremerhaven TV 1905 in the second and first tennis league. Since then he has competed for the Rochusclub in Düsseldorf .
