Peter Tost

Peter W. Tost (born April 7, 1939 in Munich ) is a German actor and cameraman .

Life

Before he played the blacksmith's son "Mans" in the two films Die Mädels vom Immenhof and Hochzeit auf Immenhof, Peter Tost also worked in the first film adaptation of the Erich Kästner classic The Flying Classroom (1954), alongside Paul Klinger and Peter Kraus .

In 1954, Tost also played in a romance called Beloved Miss Doctor - Love Letters from Mittenwald and was part of the film Der Engel, who moved his harp (1959) alongside his former “Immenhof” colleague Matthias Fuchs . In 1961, Peter Tost was in front of the camera for the last time for the television film Du holde Kunst - Scenes around songs by Franz Schubert .

He then retired from acting, but remained loyal to the film business and became a successful cameraman (including behind the camera on the television series Kommissar Freytag 1963–1966 and Waldheimat , 1982).

Today Peter Tost lives in Lower Franconia.
