Peter Truschner

Peter Truschner (born August 3, 1967 in Klagenfurt ) is an Austrian writer .

Live and act

Peter Truschner grew up with his grandparents in Poppichl near Maria Saal in Carinthia and was brought to Salzburg by his mother . He studied philosophy, communication science and political science at the University of Salzburg and published his first contributions as an author and reviewer in cultural and literary magazines from 1990 onwards . Peter Truschner has lived in Berlin since 1999 .

The author has received numerous awards and grants .
At the invitation of Stefan Gmünder , Peter Truschner takes part in the Ingeborg Bachmann Prize 2015.
