Peter Wilken

Peter Wilken (born January 11, 1926 in Güstrow ) is a former functionary of the FDJ and the SED . He was chairman of the district party control commission (BPKK) of the SED Rostock .

Life

Wilken learned the profession of typesetter. After 1945 he was a functionary of the FDJ and at times head of department in the FDJ district management in Rostock. From 1958 to 1960 Wilken was the first secretary of the FDJ city administration in Rostock and from 1960 as a department head in the SED district administration Rostock city. From 1963 he was party secretary in the VEB Housing Combine Rostock. From January 18, 1974 to January 7, 1984 he acted as first secretary of the newly formed SED-Kreisleitung Maritime Traffic and Port Management . Since March 1976 he was a member of the SED district leadership in Rostock. From February 12, 1984 to 1988 he was finally chairman of the BPKK Rostock and a member of the secretariat of the Rostock district leadership of the SED.
