Peter Zepp

Peter Josef Zepp (born March 18, 1879 in Sinzig ; † May 4, 1943 in Bonn ) was a German geographer and professor at the Pedagogical Academy in Bonn.

Zepp first became a primary school teacher in Siegburg , Koblenz and Bonn. In addition to his job, he studied geography and biology at the University of Bonn until his doctorate in 1923 and the state examination in 1924. In 1926/27 he was appointed lecturer for geography at the newly founded Pedagogical Academy in Bonn, which in May 1933 became a university for Teacher training was. In November 1933 he signed the professors' declaration of Adolf Hitler at German universities and colleges .

The city of Sinzig honors him with Peter-Zepp-Straße.
