Petr Jiráček (born March 2, 1986 in Sokolov ) is a Czech national football player who is currently under contract with FC Zlin .

Jiráček played 100 league games for Viktoria Plzen between 2008 and 2011 .
During the 2011/12 winter break, he moved to Bundesliga club VfL Wolfsburg ; he signed a contract until June 30, 2016. After making his Bundesliga debut in the game against 1. FC Köln , he scored his first two Bundesliga goals on February 10, 2012 (21st matchday) in a 3-2 home win.
At the end of August 2012, Jiráček moved within the league to Hamburger SV . He signed a four-year contract until the end of June 2016. However, he could not prevail in Hamburg among many coaches.
On August 25, 2015 Jiráček returned to his homeland and moved to Sparta Prague . He received a four-year contract with the capital club until June 30, 2019. In July 2016, Sparta Prague awarded Jiráček to FK Jablonec for one season .
National team
On September 3, 2011 Jiráček made his debut for the Czech national team in the game against Scotland . He scored his first goal in the 1-0 win in the European Championship qualifying playoff against Montenegro .
In the group matches of the Czech national team at the finals of the 2012 European Football Championship , Jiráček was one of the most noticeable players. With his two goals he contributed to the victories against Greece (2-1) and Poland (1-0) and thus to reaching the quarter-finals.
Private life
In June 2014, Jiráček married his long-time girlfriend, Linda Vilingerová.
