Tuchořice (German Tuchorschitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located about nine kilometers southeast of Saaz and belongs to the Okres Louny in northern Bohemia.
geography
The village is located south of the road from Žatec (Saaz) to Louny (Laun) at the foot of the Džbán or the Dzbanberge with the elevations Haidhübel, Pandurahöhe, Výrov ( Hohe Guck ) and Markwaretzer Höhe. Neighboring towns are Dubčany and Libešice in the north-west , Lipno in the north, Markvarec in the east and Třeskonice in the south. The area is characterized by valuable agricultural soils, on which especially hops are grown .
history
The first written mention of the place comes from the year 1239, when a Wladyke Adam von Tuchorschitz had his seat here. Until 1792 Tuchorschitz belonged to the school district Liebeschitz. In the vicinity of the place numerous graves from the Stone Age were found in a limestone quarry, and finds from the Bronze Age (Lusatian and La Tène culture) were also made.
The parish belonged to the Saaz district .
After the Munich Agreement , the place was added to the German Reich and belonged to the Saaz district until 1945 .

The municipality Tuchořice consists of the districts Nečemice ( Netschenitz ), Třeskonice ( Treskonitz ) and Tuchořice ( Tuchoritz ), which also form cadastral districts.
