history

Nové Sedlo was first mentioned in 1249, when Wenceslaus I left the place and the festivals to the Waldsassen monastery . In the 15th century the place was again in secular possession and in 1444 Jan von Měrunice sold it to Heinrich von Schönhof . Later Bohuslav Felix von Lobkowitz and Hassenstein acquired the place. During the reign of Jindřich Strojetický ze Strojetic the fortress was renewed.

In the 18th century Nové Sedlo belonged to the Kulhanek family from Saaz . After the death of her children, the widow Marie Klara Kulhanek donated the rectory in 1734 and had the Church of the Holy Trinity and St. Wenceslaus built between 1735 and 1737, which became the burial place of the Kulhanek von Klaudenstein family . After patrimonial was replaced , Neusattel became an independent municipality in 1850, to which the district of Kutterschin belonged. Politically, the place was assigned to the Saaz district , the court seat was also in Saaz. The Neusattel estate with Kutterschin was bought by Dr. Hans Damm and had a castle built between 1898 and 1901.

After the Munich Agreement , the place was added to the German Reich and belonged to the Saaz district until 1945 .

Another castle was in Číňov. The structure was built at the beginning of the 19th century on the site of an old fortress and was demolished in the 1960s.
