history

The first written mention of the place took place in 1362 when it was in the possession of the court master of Charles IV , Peter von Janovice. During the Hussite Wars , the village belonged to the Catholic family of Rydkéř von Polensko. From the 15th century, the families of Světec, Kyharov, Hubkov and Černčice, who adopted the title of Černčice , followed. At the end of the 16th century, Anna Hubková from Černčice brought a large number of defamation suits at the Launer Schöppengericht. Václav Kozelka from Hřivice had the Limburk Fortress built at the beginning of the 17th century. During the Thirty Years War, Černčice became deserted and was then attached to the Vršovice rule . When Anna Sylvia Caretto bought the Vršovice estate in 1663, only six properties were managed in Černčice. She died the following year and her widower Leopold Wilhelm von Baden-Baden inherited the rule. He was followed by his son of the same name, who remained unmarried and died in 1716. His inheritance fell to Margrave Ludwig Georg Simpert of Baden . The Jägerlouis set up three pheasantries with thousands of pheasants for his hunts on the Eger between Obora , Černčice and Vršovice . In 1759 500 Prussian dragoons invaded the village. In 1778, during the War of the Bavarian Succession , Alten Fritz's troops occupied the village. Margrave August Georg Simpert died in 1771 without heirs, so that his niece Elisabeth Augusta inherited the rule, which she left to her cousin Johann I. Prince zu Schwarzenberg in 1783 .

After the abolition of patrimonial Čenčice / Tschentschitz formed a political municipality in the Louny district from 1850 . In 1924 the municipality name was changed to Černčice. Until the Czechoslovak land reform of 1924, the goods belonged to the dominion of the princes of Schwarzenberg. With 1500 inhabitants, the village reached the largest population in its history in 1930. In 1956 the Limburk Fortress was canceled. Between 1976 and 1990 Černčice was incorporated into Louny.
