The village was first mentioned in writing in 1318 as the seat of Vladiken Beneš of Žiželice. It was later bought by the Saaz furrier Otlín. In the second half of the 14th century there was a division into several goods that initially belonged to different citizens of Saaz. Jan Pytlík von Zvoleněves and Václav von Solopysk belonged to the other owners.

The upper part was attached to the Winteritz rule at the beginning of the 16th century. Apel von Vitzthum auf Schönburg , was expelled from the country in 1531 for counterfeiting and his goods confiscated. the following year, Albrecht Schlick von Passaun became the owner of this part.

The other part with the village and the Nadýmač pond was acquired by the Saaz council in 1555 from Jaroslav von Vřesovice. This tied the condition that the city took care of all orphans from Žiželice. Joachim Hora von Ocelovice bought it at the end of the 16th century. He built a fortress in the Saubach valley. Due to its favorable location, Žiželice was one of the richest villages in the Saazer Landes and its hop farmers also lent money. In 1615 Hora sold the festivals with the village and a desert mill to Erasmus von Steinbach . Before the Thirty Years' War, the Mayor of Saaz, Maximilian Hošťálek of Javořice, bought part of the village. He was beheaded in the Old Town Square in Prague on June 21, 1621 after the Battle of White Mountain . The fortress and the village were given to Franz Clary da Riva in 1623 .

In the berní rula of 1654, 19 properties are shown for Žiželice, including twelve farmers and five residents and two desolate. The fortress was out. At that time Žiželice belonged to five different owners and was populated with mixed languages. A part of the village was attached to the Bielenz estate from 1694 to 1704 under the Count Kolowrat -Krakowsky .
