Zdeněk and Jan von Kolowrat owned a share . Because of the other part, Bušek von Sulejovice auf Milešov von Wenzel, Nikolaus, Sigismund and Wilhelm Lobkowicz von Hassenstein were accused of withholding their due taxes from Lišany. Georg Hruška von Březno inherited the share of the lords of Kolowrat in 1602 and had a fortress built in Lišany. After the Battle of White Mountain , a third of Georg Hruška's property was confiscated. In 1625 Lišany was pledged to Seyfrid Christoph Brenner von strengz. He sold the festivals five years later to Paul Michna von Vacínov , who attached them to his Postelberg estate . The area deserted in the Thirty Years War was then repopulated with Germans. After the Counts of Sinzendorf had acquired Lischan in 1671 , Tatina ruled. The Lischan farm was divided into two halves in 1699 and sold to farmers. In the first half of the 18th century, lignite was mined around Lischan . In 1767 Joseph I, Prince of Schwarzenberg, bought Lischna and added it to his rule Neuschloß .
After the abolition of patrimonial formed Lischan / Lišany with the district Horka / Dolejší Hůrky 1850 a municipality in the district Saaz . In 1872 the Pilsen – Priesen (–Komotau) railway was inaugurated. In 1930 the community of Lischan had 440 inhabitants.
After the Munich Agreement , the place was added to the German Reich in 1938 and belonged to the Saaz district until 1945 . In 1939 there were 345 people living in the community. After the end of World War II, Lišany came back to Czechoslovakia and the German population was expelled .
Lišany has been part of the Okres Louny since 1961. Between 1981 and 1990 Lišany was part of Postoloprty. In November 1990, the municipality of Lišany was rebuilt, but the former district of Dolejší Hůrky remained at Postoloprty. Lišany is a traditional hop growing place.
