Petr Pipa
Petr Pipa (born June 12, 1964 ) is a former Slovak long-distance runner .
Life
In 1990 he became Czechoslovakian champion in the 10,000 meter run . At the World Cross Country Championships in 1991, he came in 134th after he had finished 174th in the previous year.
At the marathon of the World Athletics Championships in 1993 in Stuttgart, he came in 29th place, now starting for Slovakia. In the following year he was the overall winner of the Košice Marathon national champion. In 1995 he finished eighth in the Hamburg Marathon , which he won the following year. At the World Half Marathon Championships in 1997 in Košice, he ran in 73rd place.
