The Nova d'Acton Vale ( English Acton Vale Nova ) were a Canadian ice hockey team from Acton Vale , Québec . The team played in the Québec Semi-Pro Hockey League from 1996 to 2001 .

history

The franchise was founded in 1996 and was a founding member of the Québec Semi-Pro Hockey League . In its first three seasons, the team took first place after the regular season, but could never prevail in the subsequent play-offs for the Coupe Futura . Following the 1999/2000 season, the team was renamed Beaulieu d'Acton Vale, before it was sold a year later and relocated to Saint-Hyacinthe , where it was then active in the league under the name of Cousin de Saint-Hyacinthe .
