The Voyageurs de Vanier ( English Vanier Voyageurs ) were a Canadian ice hockey team from Vanier , Québec . The team played in the 1996/97 season in the Québec Semi-Pro Hockey League .
history
The team was founded in 1996 as a franchise of the Québec Semi-Pro Hockey League , which was held for the first time . The Voyageurs de Vanier finished their only season, the 1996/97 season, in fourth place. With only eleven wins in 36 games, they ended the season with a clearly negative record. Before the 1997/98 season, the franchise was relocated to Québec City , where it then took part in the league's game operations under the name As de Québec .
