history

The Lacroix de Windsor from the Québec Semi-Pro Hockey League was relocated from Windsor , Québec to Sherbrooke in 2003 and renamed Saint-François de Sherbrooke. In the Québec Semi-Pro Hockey League, the team played for a year before it was renamed Ligue Nord-Américaine de Hockey in 2004. In this they won the Coupe Futura in the 2005/06 season , in 2007 and 2010 they failed in the final for this. In the 2010/11 season , the team again won the championship of the LNAH and the now renamed Coupe Canam trophy. Yannick Tremblay was named Most Valuable Player of the Playoffs.

In July 2011 the franchise was sold to a group of three regional investors. This then decided that the team would return to Windsor. Since then, the team has played in the LNAH under the name Wild de Windsor .
