The Dragons de Saint-Laurent ( English St. Laurent Dragons ) were a Canadian ice hockey team from Saint-Laurent , Québec . The team played in the Québec Semi-Pro Hockey League from 1998 to 2001 .

history

The franchise of the Dragons d'Iberville from the Quebec Semi-Pro Hockey League was founded in 1998 by Iberville relocated to Saint-Laurent and renamed Dragons de Saint-Laurent. In the three years of its existence, the team achieved second and third place in the regular season.

Following their best season with 56 points, the 2000/01 season, the franchise was relocated to Verdun , another suburb of Montreal , where it was then used under the name Dragons de Verdun in the Québec Semi-Pro Hockey League (later Ligue Nord-Américaine de Hockey) took part.
