The Condors de Jonquière ( English Jonquiere Condors ) were a Canadian ice hockey team from Jonquière , Québec . The team played in the Québec Semi-Pro Hockey League from 1997 to 2002 .

history

The team was founded in 1997 as a franchise of the Québec Semi-Pro Hockey League . In this they had a rather average record in the five years of their existence, in that they finished their division between third and fifth place, as well as eighth place in the 2001/02 season. Her greatest success was reaching the second playoff round for the Coupe Futura in the 2000/01 season. The Condors could never win the trophy itself.

Following the 2001/02 season, the franchise was relocated to Saguenay , where it took part in the league's game operations in the following years under the name Paramédic du Saguenay (later Fjord du Saguenay).
