The Chiefs de Sainte-Thérèse ( English Sainte-Thérèse Chiefs ) were a Canadian ice hockey team from Sainte-Thérèse , Québec . The team played in the 1997/98 season in the Québec Semi-Pro Hockey League .
history
The franchise of the Gladiateurs de ville des Laurentides from the Québec Semi-Pro Hockey League was relocated to Sainte-Thérèse in 1997 and renamed Chiefs de Sainte-Thérèse. In their only season, the Chiefs finished with a clearly negative record of 14 wins in 38 games and achieved 34 points. The Coupe Futura , the champion of the LNAH, they could never win. Following the 1997/98 season, the franchise was relocated to Laval and was henceforth active in the league under the name Chiefs de Laval .
