The Aztèques d'Asbestos ( English Asbestos Aztecs ) were a Canadian ice hockey team from Asbestos , Québec . The team played in the Québec Semi-Pro Hockey League from 1997 to 2003 .

history

The team was founded in 1997 as a franchise of the Québec Semi-Pro Hockey League . In this they never came in the six years of their existence beyond third place in the regular season. From 2000 to 2002 the club ran under the name Dubé d'Asbestos. Following their only play-off participation in the 2002/03 season, in which it failed in the first round, the team was disbanded.
