Petra Haltmayr (born September 16, 1975 in Rettenberg ) is a former German ski racer .
biography
At the beginning of her career, Haltmayr was at home in the technical disciplines of slalom and giant slalom , but then found more and more the speed disciplines. Most recently she was a specialist in downhill and super-G . She was able to win two races in the World Cup in her long career . She had another victory in mind on March 5, 2000 in Lenzerheide when she started with start no. 30 took the lead, but was then intercepted by Corinne Imlig, who entered the race with No. 33, for 0.03 seconds. She drove her first World Cup race on December 18, 1994 in Sestriere in slalom, her last race on March 15, 2007 in Super-G in Lenzerheide .
Between 2000 and 2004 Petra Haltmayr won four German championships, two in the downhill and one each in the giant slalom and one in the super-G. She was second in the championship five times. In March 2006 the former sports soldier began the Bachelor's degree in International Management at the Ansbach University of Applied Sciences , a course that was adapted at the HS Ansbach and specially designed for top athletes.
From November 2008 she was seen as an alpine ski expert on ZDF . In January 2016, Petra Haltmayr married her partner Daniel Sturzenegger in Rettenberg and has been called Petra Sturzenegger ever since .
