Petra Heid (born September 10, 1957 in Landstuhl ) is a German biologist and SPD politician. From 2005 to 2006 she sat in the state parliament of Rhineland-Palatinate.

Professional background

Heid studied biology at the University of Kaiserslautern , specializing in zoology and ethoendocrinology, and received his diploma. In 1986 she received her doctorate rerum naturalium. Heid became a member of the SPD in 1997. A short time later she became the local association chairwoman. On April 22, 2005, she became a member of the state parliament of Rhineland-Palatinate as a replacement for Gerhard Schmidt .
