The Petrellnuten ( Norwegian for Petrel Peak ) is a 1564 m high nunatak in Queen Maud Land in East Antarctica . It rises up on the north side of Tanngarden in the center of Sør Rondane .
Scientists from the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 1988.
