The Peyne is a river in France that runs in the Hérault department in the Occitanie region . It rises near the hamlet of Taussac , in the municipality of Pézènes-les-Mines , generally drains in a south-easterly direction, flows through the reservoir above the Barrage des Olivettes and, after 33 kilometers in the municipality of Pézenas, flows into the Hérault as a right tributary .
