Parish Church Döhlau
The Döhlau parish church is an Evangelical Lutheran parish church in Döhlau , which is consecrated to Peter and Paul .
The church was built around 1445 as the castle chapel of the Rabensteiner zu Döhlau from Döhlau Castle . It belonged to the parish of St. Lorenz in Hof. Under Margrave Georg the Pious , the place became Protestant in 1529. In 1672 the patronage passed to the von Pühel family , as indicated by several coats of arms in the church. She donated the pulpit altar , of which a group of figures is attributed to the Hof artist workshop Knoll , and also furnished other churches in the area around Hof. Other coats of arms refer to the von Waldenfels family , who did a lot for the maintenance of the church in the middle of the 20th century.
