architecture

The church is a uniform late Gothic new building, which in the tower chapel is dated to the year 1486. The three-bay nave with a ribbed vault on protruding wall templates merges into an imperceptibly drawn-in two-bay choir with a 3/8 end with ribbed vault for services . The nave has a west portal and a south portal, the choir has a sacrament niche and two portals. In the south of the nave, on the third ship yoke, stands the square tower, with a baroque octagonal bell storey with a helmet and a lantern from 1721. The tower chapel has a star rib vault. In the north, on the third ship yoke, there is a baroque chapel extension from the 2nd half of the 17th century, where the organ gallery was built at the same time. There are stepped buttresses around the outside. There are delicate tendril paintings on the vaults from 1512. In the tower chapel behind the altar is a wall fresco with saints and painted coats of arms of the Stubenberg as rib consoles around 1500. In the side chapel there are baroque frescoes.

Furnishing

The pulpit is dated 1728. The chapel altars were created around 1730, the right with a copy of the Graz Pietà by Johann Jacob Schoy . The high altar from 1736 has figures by the sculptor Philipp Jakob Straub and bears the image of St. Nicholas by the painter Johann Veit Hauck from 1736. The tabernacle and the two side altars are from the 3rd quarter of the 18th century.

There are gravestones from 1680 and 1708. There are three old bells, one by Medardus Reig from 1692, one by F. A. Pignet from 1717 and one by Martin Feltl from 1750. The baptismal font is from 1780. The Stations of the Cross from 1800. The glass painting in the west window with the representation of St. Cäcilie was made in 1961, the organ is from 1962.
