history

A church was mentioned in documents in 1324. The Gothic choir and the central nave around 1445 were expanded in the Baroque period with side aisles, in the south in 1689 with the tower, in the north in 1723, and extensions that were moved over the choir and all stand under a common gable roof.

architecture

The three-bay central nave with a net rib vault stands in a bent row on the slightly retracted one-bay net-rib vaulted choir with a three-eighth end (around 1445). The baroque lower aisles are arched ridge. The slender west tower with an eight-sided attachment wears an onion helmet. The Gothic sacristy portal has a door with Gothic fittings. The southern entrance door has Gothic fittings.

Furnishing

The high altar around 1755 bears works by the sculptor Johann Jakob Schnabl and shows an altarpiece by the painter Tobias Schinagl (1668).
