history

According to the inscription in the tower porch, the church was built in 1505 and expanded and re- consecrated in 1860 . In 1939 it was elevated to a parish church.

Architecture and equipment

The church is a single-nave building without wall structure with a retracted, semicircular closed choir. The core of the west tower in front comes from the Middle Ages. The attached upper floor with a brick pointed helmet dates from 1860.

The nave is three-bay with square vaults , in between girdle arches on mighty pilasters with entablature. The Emporenjoch is drawn in a little - probably in the width of the medieval church. The three-axis gallery with straight parapets rests on octagonal pillars. There is a square vault in the choir bay and a bowl vault in the apse .

The high altar with a concave structure consisting of two cranked entablature pieces over two Corinthian columns belongs to the furnishings from the mid-18th century . At the altar are four white-framed statues of Saints Emmerich , King Stephan , Ladislaus and Elisabeth. In the top is a plastic group of the Holy Trinity with angels . The new altarpiece shows St. Anne. The left side altar is equipped with a baroque central figure of St. Joseph on the wall and a late baroque box tabernacle . The right side altar is modern with a baroque Madonna in a halo from 1700 as the central figure. The pulpit was built in the fourth quarter of the 17th century. On the basket are the figures of the four evangelists and of Christ between twisted columns . The console figure on the sound cover dates from the 19th century and depicts St. John Nepomuk .
