Foal show

A breeding show is an event where breeding horses are presented. In different classes type are building and gaits of horses a race rated.

At foal shows , the foals are presented together with their mother , assessed and entered in the stud book. The foals are also marked . Horse markets are often held at foal shows .

Mares are evaluated at mare shows and entered in the stud book. The best mares are awarded.

At stallion parades or stallion shows , licensed stallions are presented to the breeders so that they can choose a suitable stallion for their mare.

The term horse show is broader and does not only include breeding shows. There are also horse shows that are not specifically geared towards breeding, for example for Asil Arabs .

Horse shows also include shows like Apassionata . In English has horse show the importance of the tournament .
