The country house at Pfungstädter Straße 178 is a building in Darmstadt-Eberstadt .
History and description
The country house was built around 1910 . The free-standing, gable- free , one-and-a-half-storey building of the country house type located at the end of the village has a gable roof . The pushed through Zwerchhaus risalite on the long sides have hipped roofs . Three coupled lattice windows and framed angular columns emphasize the gable. The wooden shingling of the gable is preferred over the windows as a roof . The parapet fields are designed as decorative truss bands. Also noteworthy are the delicate flower boxes on curly brackets from wood . The enclosure and the gate date from the construction time .
