Phaia
The wild boar Phaia ( Greek Φαιά, "the gray one") or the Krommyonische sow is an animal of Greek mythology .
According to the library of Apollodorus , Phaia is descended from Typhon and Echidna . According to Strabo , the Calydonian boar descends from her.
Phaia terrorized the area around the village of Krommyon near Corinth , which, according to Strabo , was believed to be near the Megaris in earlier times . Killing this sow was one of Theseus's duties .
