Philip Huang Chao-ming

Philip Huang Chao-ming ( Chinese  黃兆明 , Pinyin Huáng Zhàomíng ; born August 23, 1954 in Fuli ) is a Taiwanese priest and bishop of Hualien .

Life

Philip Huang Chao-ming was ordained a priest on April 12, 1983 . Pope John Paul II appointed him auxiliary bishop in Kaohsiung and titular bishop of Lamphua on June 27, 1998 .

The Bishop of Kaohsiung , Paul Cardinal Shan Kuo-hsi SJ , donated him episcopal ordination on September 26 of the same year ; Co - consecrators were Bosco Lin Chi-nan , auxiliary bishop in Kaohsiung, and Joseph Ti-kang , archbishop of Taipei .

On November 19, 2001, he was appointed Bishop of Hualien.
