Bosco Lin Chi-nan

Bosco Lin Chi-nan ( Chinese  林吉 男 Lín Jínán ; born May 14, 1943 in Pingtung ) is a Taiwanese clergyman and bishop of Tainan .

Life

Bosco Lin Chi-nan was ordained a priest on April 12, 1983 . Pope John Paul II appointed him auxiliary bishop in Kaohsiung and titular bishop of Alexanum on September 28, 1992 .

The bishop of Kaohsiung , Paul Cardinal Shan Kuo-hsi SJ , ordained him episcopal on January 2 of the next year ; Co - consecrators were Joseph Lin Thien-chu , Bishop of Chiayi , and Matthew Kia Yen-wen , Old Archbishop of Taipei .

On January 24, 2004, he was appointed Bishop of Tainan .
