Philip Kiefer

Philip Kiefer (born August 24, 1973 in Friedrichshafen ) is a German non-fiction author .

Life

Philip Kiefer grew up as the youngest of six children in his birthplace Friedrichshafen on Lake Constance and graduated from high school there in 1993. He then completed his community service as a carer for the severely disabled with the writer Joachim Hoßfeld in Langenargen . In 1995 Kiefer began studying literature and philosophy in Tübingen and Oxford , which he completed with a master's degree. He then worked for a short time in a PR agency in Munich . Kiefer has been working as a freelance author since the end of 2001.

He has published numerous books on various topics, including at arsEdition , cbj-Verlag , Data Becker and Ravensburger Buchverlag . The main focus of his writing activities are textbooks on PC and internet topics as well as nonfiction and activity books for children. Some of his works have been translated into Spanish, French, Dutch, Russian and Bulgarian. From 1999 to 2005 he ran the German-language online magazine Riesenratz , which was aimed at children between the ages of 8 and 14. He also wrote numerous articles for various magazines.

Philip Kiefer lives in Langenargen.
