Philip Milanov (born July 6, 1991 in Bruges ) is a Belgian discus thrower .

At the 2014 European Championships in Zurich, he was eliminated from the qualification.

In 2015 he won the Universiade in Gwangju . At the World Championships in Beijing he won silver with the Belgian record of 66.90 m behind Piotr Małachowski (67.40 m) and ahead of Robert Urbanek (65.18 m). He also won silver at the European Championships in Amsterdam in 2016 , again behind Małachowski.

Awards

  • In 2015 Philip Milanov received the Belgian Golden Spike athletics award as “Athlete of the Year”.
