Philipp Gallhuber (born June 27, 1995 in Göstling an der Ybbs ) is a former Austrian soccer player and now coach .

Career

Gallhuber started his career at FC Göstling / Ybbs . In 2006 he moved to SC Wieselburg . In 2009 he came to the academy of FC Admira Wacker Mödling , where he played until 2013. In September 2014 he made his debut for the Admira amateurs in the Regionalliga when he was in the starting line-up against 1. SC Sollenau on matchday eight of the 2014/15 season .

For the 2015/16 season he moved to SC Ritzing . For Ritzing he played a game in the regional league until the winter break of that season. After half a year in Burgenland , he switched to league competitor 1. SC Sollenau in January 2016. For Sollenau he completed 13 games.

After the club's withdrawal from the regional league, he moved to SC Mannsdorf for the 2016/17 season . In October 2016 he scored his first goal in the Regionalliga in a 5-0 win against the amateurs of SKN St. Pölten .

In the summer of 2017 he joined the Vienna Sport Club . He played eleven regional league games for the WSC. In January 2018 he switched to SKU Amstetten . With Amstetten he rose to the 2nd division in the same year .

He made his debut in the second-highest division in August 2018 when he came on as a substitute for Lukas Deinhofer on matchday five of the 2018/19 season against SV Ried in stoppage time . For Amstetten, he completed a total of 30 second division games in two seasons. After the 2019/20 season he ended his career and became a youth coach at FK Austria Wien .

Personal

His sister Katharina (* 1997) is a ski racer.
