Philipp Maußhardt

Philipp Maußhardt (* 1958 in Tübingen ) is a German journalist .

After studying political science and geography, he was a trainee at the Schwäbisches Tagblatt in Tübingen, then an editor at the Schwäbisches Tagblatt and the Kölner Stadtanzeiger , chief reporter for the magazine “ Bunte ” and chief reporter for the Munich evening newspaper . For many years he was a permanent employee of “ taz ” and “ Die Zeit ” and has been a reporter for the “Zeitenspiegel” reporting agency since 2002. In 1996 Maußhardt was awarded the Theodor Wolff Prize for a report on the Nazi past of the well-known German journalist " Peter Grubbe alias Claus Peter Volkmann". Maußhardt is co-founder and director of the Zeitenspiegel reportage school in Reutlingen . He lives in Reutlingen and Eldenburg. Member of the board of the Reporter Forum and jury member of several journalist prizes, u. a. from "Journalist of the Year" from Medium magazine.
