Philipp Otto
Philipp Otto (* 1973 in Freiberg ) is a German theater actor .
Life
Philipp Otto studied at the "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" University of Music and Theater in Leipzig . From 1995 to 2001 he was engaged at the Staatsschauspiel Dresden , from 2001 to 2005 at the Staatstheater Stuttgart , then at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg, first as a permanent member of the ensemble and then as a guest. As a freelance actor he was seen at the Societaetstheater Dresden and regularly in productions for film and television. At the beginning of the 2013/2014 season he was part of the ensemble of the Chemnitz Theater.
He composes and was a member of the multiple award-winning music trio Herbert, Horst and Heinz .
Otto lives in Dresden .
