Philipp Poelmahn

Philipp Heinrich Poelmahn (born May 26, 1809 in Minden ; † January 15, 1871 there ) was a Westphalian local politician.

Poelmahn was bailiff and then from 1832 to 1851 mayor of Vlotho . He was then appointed mayor of Minden in 1851 and confirmed in elections in 1854 and 1865. In the meantime, he was appointed Lord Mayor in 1858 , which he remained until his death in 1871. In 1841 he was a member of the Provincial Parliament of the Province of Westphalia . From 1861 to 1871 he represented his city in the Prussian manor house .
