Philippe Meyer (athlete)
Philippe Meyer (born January 5, 1950 in Villiers-sur-Marne , Département Val-de-Marne ) is a former French middle -distance runner who specialized in the 800-meter distance .
At the European Athletics Championships in Vienna in 1971 , he finished eighth. In 1974 he became French and Italian indoor champion and finished sixth at the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Gothenburg .
In 1971 he was national runner-up in the open air and in 1972 in the hall.
He set his personal best of 1: 46.6 minutes on July 5, 1972 in Colombes .
