Philippe Prost
Philippe Prost (* 1959 in France ) is a French architect , urban planner , university professor and author .
Life
Prost received his state diploma Architecte DPLG after completing his studies at the Paris École de Chaillot , the former Center d'études supérieures d'histoire et de conservation des monuments anciens . In the following period he was involved in the restoration and development of the citadel on Belle-Île in Brittany for 12 years and researched Vauban's fortresses . From 2001 until the founding of his own office in 1998, he worked as a researcher at the Institut parisien de recherche architecture, urbanisme société (IPRAUS) at the École nationale supérieure d'architecture de Paris-Belleville (ENSAPB), where he is still today (2014) teaches alongside his job.

- until 2004: New buildings in the ZAC de la Réunion district of Paris .
- 2006: New construction of the headquarters of the French army at the École Militaire in Paris .
- 2009: Reconstruction of the Chambre de commerce et d'industrie Grand Lille , Lille.
- 2009: Reconstruction of the Cartoucherie ammunition factory in Bourg-lès-Valence .
- 2010–2013: Conversion of a brick factory in Vitry-sur-Seine , Département Val-de-Marne into a choreography center.
- 2011–2016: Conversion of the Monnaie de Paris . Paris.
- 2014: L'Anneau de la Mémoire - Memorial to the Fallen Notre-Dame-de-Lorette , Ablain-Saint-Nazaire, France.
Prizes and awards
- 2004: Prix de l'Équerre d'argent for his new buildings in the Parisian ZAC de la Réunion .
- 2010: Honorable mention at the Prix de l'Équerre d'argent for his residential buildings in the Rue Ramponeau in the 20th arrondissement (Paris) :
