Claudia Hilker

Claudia Hilker (born March 6, 1965 in Minden ) is a management consultant and author of internet marketing and social media books.

Training and activities

Claudia Hilker studied German , literature and media studies in the master’s degree , and business administration , marketing and information technology in a postgraduate course . In addition, she completed training in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). She received a DAAD scholarship for creative writing and e-learning at the University of Calgary and an award for her master's thesis.

Claudia Hilker is the managing director of the management consultancy Hilker Consulting and the author of several sales books in the field of marketing communication and Web 2.0 . She also gives lectures on the subject.

In addition to her consulting work, Claudia Hilker is a social media lecturer at universities such as the EMBA Medienakademie Düsseldorf, the Quadriga Hochschule Berlin and the Business Academy Ruhr in Dortmund. In 2016 she completed her doctorate at the Slovak Technical University in Bratislava on the subject of social media marketing using the example of Insurance industry . From 2017 to 2020 she was professor for the fashion marketing department at the AMD Akademie Mode & Design . Since April 2020 she has been Chief Marketing Officer at Kauz GmbH.

Hilker was also a member of the jury in the competition for the "Best Press Release 2014" of the online press portal PR-Gateway and co-founder of the Social Media Club Düsseldorf. In addition, since 2018 she has been a member of the jury for the OMGV Award, which is given to mediators for outstanding online marketing in the field of customer communication for insurance brokers.
